Junior pitcher Ashley Vann remains undefeated on the season after picking up her fourth win in a shutout victory over Louisiana College.

The Pinson, Ala. native allowed only one hit and struck out three batters over 7.0 innings in a 3-0 victory over LC.  She made an appearance in the circle in all three contests, allowing eight hits and striking out four batter over 11.0 innings.

On the year, Vann has tallied a 1.25 ERA, allowing 12 hits and just five runs over 28.0 innings pitched.

Vann and the Lady Choctaws will be back in action this Tuesday as they face Millsaps in Jackson at 4:00 p.m.  MC will travel to Alpine, Texas for a three-game series against Sul Ross beginning with a doubleheader on Friday starting at 2:00 p.m. followed by a single-game on Saturday at noon.
