Emery Wilson averaged a double-double in her first week with the Mississippi College women’s basketball team. Wilson averaged 13.0 points and 10.5 rebounds in the two games to open the season and is one of only three players in the GSC averaging a double-double. The Jackson, Miss., native made her debut with 11 points and 12 rebounds at Southern-New Orleans and followed with a 15-point, career-high night in the home-opening win over LeMoyne as she also grabbed a team-best nine rebounds.

Mississippi College returns to action on Tuesday, Nov. 21 as it travels to Russellville, Ark., to face Arkansas Tech. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.
