Senior Blake Mcilwain helped the Choctaws snap a five-game losing streak with 8.1 scoreless innings in a 1-0 victory over Sul Ross State. He struck out seven batters and allowed just five hits and one walk against a Lobo team that came into the weekend averaging 10.8 runs per game.

Mcilwain and the Choctaws will be back in action this week as they host Millsaps at 6:00 pm on Tuesday night and East Texas Baptist for a three-game series, beginning Friday night at 6:00 pm.
