Junior Jessica Hodges opened the 2014 Outdoor Track & Field season with a strong showing in the pole vault at the MC Season Opener. She won the event with a vault of 3.37m.

Hodges and the Lady Choctaws will be back in action on Saturday, March 15 when they travel to Hattiesburg, Miss. to compete in the Southern Miss Invitational.
