Senior Cara Beverin posted back-to-back double doubles to lead the Lady Choctaws to a 120-77 victory over Sul Ross and an 82-67 win over Howard Payne.

The Biloxi, Miss. native scored a team-high 21 points in each conference victory.  She tallied a career-high 14 rebounds against Sul Ross and recorded 11 rebounds against Howard Payne.

Beverin and the Lady Choctaws begin a three-game road trip by traveling to Louisiana College on Monday for a contest at 5:30 p.m.  MC will continue conference play as they face Texas-Tyler at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday before ending the week with a game against the Ozarks (Ark.) on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
