Junior Rayner Fredrick led the men's basketball team to a season-opening victory over Pensacola Christian (73-61) on Saturday night at A.E. Wood Coliseum.

Fredrick had a team-high 18 points and seven rebounds to go along with six assists.  He was a perfect 7-for-7 from the floor, including 4-for-4 from the three-point line.

Fredrick and the Choctaws will be back in action on Tuesday, November 26th when they host Rust College in the "Golden Dome".
