Junior women's soccer player Melanie Benner tallied an assist in a 7-0 shutout of Ozarks to set a new MC single-season record with 12 assists.

The Seminole, Fla. native has recorded seven goals and assisted on 12 others to rank second on the team with 26 points.

Benner and the Lady Choctaws will celebrate "Senior Day" as they wrap up the 2013 regular season with a match against Louisiana College on Saturday at Longabaugh Field.
