Junior linebacker Jake Weddle had an American Southwest Conference season-high 19 tackles in a game against Webber International.

The Frisco, Texas had 3.0 tackles for loss, 0.5 sack, and a forced fumble that led to a touchdown in the game.

Weddle and the Choctaws will open conference play as they host Hardin-Simmons at 2:00 p.m. at Robinson-Hale Stadium on Saturday.
