Freshman Victor Marinho led the scoring attack for the Choctaws by recording three goals in two matches.

The Sao Paulo, Brazil native scored the game-winning goal in a 3-2 victory over Division II Delta State in double overtime.  Marinho tallied two goals in a 7-0 shutout over conference opponent Howard Payne.

On the week, he took seven shots with four coming on goal. Marinho is tied for first on the team with five goals on the season.

Marinho and the Choctaws will be back in action this weekend as they travel to East Texas Baptist for a conference match on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
