Sophomore left-handed pitcher Brooks Fortenberry struck out a career-high 10 and gave up only one hit over 7.0 innings in a 6-1 win over Louisiana College.

The Magee, Miss. native had a perfect game through 4.2 innings and a no-hitter through 6.1 innings.

Fortenberry and the Choctaws will begin the week with a single game against Belhaven on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. in Jackson, Miss.  They will host Huntingdon for a three-game series beginning with a single-game on Friday at 6:00 p.m. followed by a doubleheader on Saturday starting at 1:00 p.m. at Frierson Field.
