Junior outfielder Kyle Blount batted .529 in a game against Belhaven and a conference series against Howard Payne.

The Coldwater, Miss. native went 7-for-12, including a triple and 2 RBI to spearhead a series win over HPU.

Blount and the Choctaws will begin the week with a game against Millsaps on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. at Frierson Field.  They will host Texas Lutheran for a three-game series beginning with a doubleheader on Friday starting at 3:00 p.m. followed by a single-game on Saturday at noon.
