Sophomore golfer Jimmy Ellis won the Louisiana College Fall Tournament held at the Links on the Bayou.

The Winter Springs, Fla. native shot a a 75 and a 72 for a two-day score of 147 to secure the win. The golf team finished second overall in the tournament.

Ellis and the Choctaws will compete in the Millsaps/Belhaven Invitational at Lake Caroline this week.
