Junior Stefan Bozickovic has been named the Mississippi College Merit Health Male Athlete of the Week, it was announced on Monday (Nov. 25).

Bozickovic (Doboj, Bosnia and Herzegovina) helped lead the Choctaws to a 69-66 overtime win over West Alabama in the Gulf South Conference opener on Saturday.

The Jacksonville College transfer went 6-of-8 from the floor and 3-of-5 from the three-point line, scoring 15 points after having just 14 through the first four games. He filled up the stat sheet with four rebounds, an assist, a blocked shot and a steal.

Bozickovic and the Choctaws will be back in action on Monday (Nov. 25) night when they travel to face Montevallo at 7:30 p.m.
