McKenzie Hargrove set a program record in the women's 5,000 meters at the Louisiana State University Alumni Gold Invitational. Hargrove posted a time of 18:13.86 to finish sixth among all divisions in the event. Hargrove surpassed fellow teammate Madeline Campbell, who set the school record last year with a time of 18:18.00 at the Rhodes College 7-Way Meet.

Mississippi College returns to action on Saturday, April 27 as it travels to Hattiesburg, Miss., and the Southern Mississippi Open.
