Jamilah Sanders led the Mississippi College women's basketball team in scoring as she averaged 14.5 points in the two games. The senior scored a career-high 16 points in the overtime win at Southern Arkansas and followed with 13 points in the setback at West Georgia on Saturday, Jan. 5. Sanders shot nearly 50 percent from the field during the stretch was perfect from the free throw line.

Mississippi College returns to action on Thursday, Jan. 10 as it hosts Valdosta State University. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.
