Smith (Birmingham, Al.) was the hero in Friday's match against West Georgia, when she scored the game winning goal in the 83rd minute off of a deflected ball on a corner kick play. The 1-0 victory was the ninth in a row for the Lady Choctaws which ties for the second longest win streak in program history. 
The Senior has had a great final season for the Lady Choctaws so far, Smith has played in all 12 matches, getting the starting nod 10. She has scored three and notched one assist. 
Smith and the Lady Choctaws will be back in action this weekend in a pair of Gulf South Conference matches. They will first travel to face Monevallo on Oct. 19th and then finish the weekend at Auburn-Montgomery on Oct. 21th.
