Choi (Macau, China) led the Choctaws to a 5th-place finish at their home event, the MC Spring Invitational, on Monday, March 5 through Tuesday, March 6. The sophomore was named to the all-tournament team, after recording the lowest 54-hole total in school history in the tournament. Choi fired scores of 70 (-2), 67 (-4), and 70 (-2) in rounds one, two and three to finish tied for third among individuals at 207 (-9) in the two-day event.

The Choctaws will return to action on Monday, March 19 in the Buccaneer Spring Invitational, hosted by Christian Brothers University, in Southaven, Miss.
