Sophomore Brandon Boston has been named the Mississippi College Wright & Ferguson Male Athlete of the Week for the second straight week, it was announced on Monday (January 29).
Boston (Pearl, Miss.) tallied his second double-double of the season with 25 points and a career-high 13 rebounds in Saturday's' game against Delta State. He went 11-of-19 from the field and pulled down five offensive boards in the loss.
On the season, Boston is averaging 13.9 points and 6.8 rebounds, shooting 55% from the field. He has scored at least 23 points in each of his last three games, averaging 26.7 points per contest with 7.7 rebounds.
Boston and the Choctaws have two home games this week, opening on Thursday night against Auburn Montgomery at 7:30 p.m.
