Marcy Hutton begins her fifth year as the Assistant Compliance Officer and Academic Advisor at Mississippi College. She joined the staff in June 2021.
A committed professional to education, prior to her time on the MC campus, Hutton worked in Clinton Public Schools as a math and science teacher at Eastside Elementary School for four years. Before her time in CSD, she served as a math teacher at Pearl Junior High School.
Hutton gained knowledge in higher education as she volunteered in the Mississippi College Student Success and Athletic Advising and Compliance during the two years prior to joining the staff full-time.
The Pearl, Miss., native received her Associate of Arts degree from Hinds Community College in 2012 before earning her Bachelor of Science from Mississippi State University in 2016. She also holds a Master of Science from Mississippi College.
