Jordan Marshall

Born on April 12, 2002, in Raymond, Mississippi, Jordan Marshall has built an impressive foundation in basketball through dedication, leadership, and a lifelong love for the game. Raised by his parents, Jackie and Willie Marshall, Jordan’s passion for sports began at an early age and was fueled by strong family support and community involvement.

A graduate of Raymond High School, Jordan played under Head Coach Tony Tadlock, where he was part of a dominant program that won the MHSAA State Championship from 2016 to 2019. His time there developed his leadership, teamwork, and competitive drive—qualities that would define his basketball journey.

Following high school, Jordan continued his playing career at Copiah-Lincoln Community College, where he averaged 6.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.8 assists over 36 games. His steady improvement caught the attention of coaches and scouts, paving the way for his transfer to Belhaven University.

At Belhaven, Jordan quickly established himself as a standout performer. In his first season (2022–23), he averaged 21.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game on 47.5% shooting, earning First Team All-Conference honors. He continued to elevate his game in the following seasons, averaging 14.8 points in 2023–24 and 20.8 points with 5.1 assists in 2024–25, helping lead Belhaven to the CCS regular season championship.

Throughout his career, Jordan collected an impressive list of accolades, including:

  • Three-time First Team All-Conference selection

  • Top 10 all-time scorer in Belhaven history

  • Top 5 single-game scorer (40 points)

  • 15 CCS Player of the Week awards

  • 11 C Spire Player of the Week honors

Off the court, Jordan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Leadership and Coaching with a minor in Kinesiology and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Coaching. His long-term goal is to become a coach and mentor, sharing his knowledge and passion for basketball with future generations.

From Raymond to Belhaven, Jordan Marshall’s journey has been defined by hard work, resilience, and a love for the game—qualities that continue to guide him as he transitions from player to coach.
