Elijah Poche serves as a student assistant in the Mississippi College Athletic Communications department. He joined the Choctaw staff during the Fall of 2025. 

The Prairieville, La., native graduated from Ascension Christian High School in May 2025. While at Ascension Christian, he lettered four years in both football and basketball and is the third sibling to attend Mississippi College.

At Mississippi College, Poche is pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Sports Management.
