Jacob Horton enters his second year as the Sports Information Graduate Assistant at Mississippi College.
Horton comes to MC from Auburn University at Montgomery where he worked in the sports information department, completing several tasks, including broadcasting responsibilities, statistics input, public address and helping to promote Warhawks athletics.
Prior to his time working in the athletic department, Horton pitched on the baseball team at AUM in 2014 and 2015. He played junior college baseball at Alabama Southern Community College in Monroeville, Ala.
He earned his B.S. in Communications at AUM and is currently seeking a Master's of Professional Communications in Sports at MC.
The Grove Hill, Ala. native is the son of Gary and Cheryl Horton. He has three older sisters, Rachel, Kelsey and Dayton.
