Hayden Claypool will serve as the Mississippi College softball graduate assistant in the 2020-21 academic year, following a two-year career with the Lady Choctaws.
Over her two seasons with the Lady Choctaws, MC went 55-25 (.688) and advanced to the NCAA South Region championship game against Florida Tech. She also qualified for the Gulf South Conference Academic Honor in both seasons in Clinton.
The Cedartown, Ga. native hit .274 with five doubles and 13 RBI over two seasons, including hitting .302 with five two-baggers in the pandemic-shortened season of 2020. She also made just one error in 259 chances at first base.
Hayden is finishing up her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and will be pursuing a Master's of Athletic Administration.
