Emerson Negrete enters his first season as the volunteer assistant for the men's soccer program at Mississippi College.
Negrete played for the Choctaws for four years, serving as the team captain for his junior and senior seasons. In his final two seasons as team captain, MC won the American Southwest Conference championship and advanced to the Division III national tournament in 2012.
The Santa Ana, Calif. native graduated in May of 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in Foreign Language and International Trade. He currently holds his USSF National "E" License and is the Coerver Coach for the state of Mississippi. Negrete is also the Academy Director for the Vicksburg Soccer Organization.
