Amy Withrow

Amy Withrow, who has spent the last two years as a track and field assistant at Harding University, was named as the sprints and jumps coach for the Mississippi College men's and women's track and field program. Withrow serves as the women's jumps, hurdles and short sprints coach as well as player development and student-athlete engagement.

Harding University is coming off of a 15th-place team finish at the 2022 NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships in the men's competition, sending two hurdlers and three pole vaulters, including 2022 NCAA Division II Pole Vault Champion Dorian Chaigneau. 

Withrow graduated from Lubbock Christian University, where she also competed in basketball collegiately. 

Upon graduating, Withrow had a successful career as a high school track and field coach in Texas, coaching three state champions and several state qualifiers. 

While at Harding University, Withrow worked primarily with the high jumpers and long jumpers. Upon her arrival at Mississippi College, she will work with the jumps, as well as the short sprints crew.Â
