Marcus Williams had a standout season as both a running back and return specialist, earning 2nd Team honors in both positions. He appeared in ten games, rushing for 851 yards on 143 attempts, averaging 6.0 yards per carry, with three touchdowns and a longest run of 55 yards. As a receiver, he made 3 receptions for 14 yards. In the kickoff return game, he recorded 22 returns for 530 yards, averaging 24.09 yards per return, including a 95-yard touchdown. In the season opener against
Keiser (8/31), he rushed 14 times for 62 yards and 1 touchdown, along with 1 kickoff return for 23 yards. Against
Midwestern State (9/9), he rushed 5 times for -4 yards and had 3 kickoff returns for 53 yards. He rushed 6 times for 54 yards and made 1 reception for 6 yards against
West Georgia (9/16), adding 2 kickoff returns for 46 yards. Facing
West Alabama (9/23), he rushed 8 times for 25 yards and had 2 kickoff returns for 37 yards. Williams rushed 22 times for 141 yards against
Shorter University (9/30). In the game against
Valdosta State (10/14), he rushed 24 times for 132 yards and made 1 reception for 5 yards. He had a strong performance against
Chowan (10/21), rushing 21 times for 110 yards and 1 touchdown, making 1 reception for 3 yards, and adding 4 kickoff returns for 156 yards, including a 95-yard touchdown. Against
North Greenville (10/28), he rushed 13 times for 147 yards and 1 touchdown and had 3 kickoff returns for 100 yards. In the game against
West Florida (11/4), he rushed 16 times for 129 yards and had 1 kickoff return for 17 yards. He finished the season against
Delta State (11/11) with 14 rushes for 55 yards and 6 kickoff returns for 98 yards.
