The Covington, Tenn. native earned his undergraduate degree from Mississippi College in 2016 in General Kinesiology.

He is married to Melissa, who is Optometrist/Owner at Professional Eyecare Associates/Optical 2000. Paul and Melissa have two children, Kaleb and Peyton.
