Austin Gray is entering his first season as a graduate assistant at Mississippi College. He will assist the defense with the outside linebackers.
Austin was a four-year player for the Choctaws, playing quarterback and wide receiver as a freshman and sophomore and making the move to safety for his junior and senior seasons. Gray was a Second Team All-American Southwest Conference performer as a senior and was named the league's Sportsmanship Athlete of the Year. With his time on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball, he is the only player in school history to record 100 tackles, intercept a pass, catch a touchdown and throw for a touchdown in his career.
Austin is the son of Bill and Crystal Gray. He graduated from MC with a degree in Accounting and is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration.
