CLINTON, Miss. — Mississippi College women's soccer begins its home schedule this week with two non-conference matches at Robert P. Longabaugh Field. The Lady Choctaws will face Nova Southeastern on Thursday, Sept. 11 at 3 p.m. CT, followed by Tougaloo on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 3 p.m. CT.

Mississippi College Recap

Mississippi College enters the week at 0–2 after losses to Dallas Baptist (3–1) and Texas Woman's (4–0). The Lady Choctaws have scored one goal while conceding seven across their first two matches.

• Scoring: Sophomore forward Vail Wartes scored the team's lone goal of the season. Freshman Charlie Cooper recorded one assist.

Tougaloo Preview

Tougaloo opens its 2025 season in Clinton on Saturday. The Bulldogs finished 0–7 last season, including two matches against Mississippi College, both losses by double-digit margins (11–0 and 12–0). Tougaloo also dropped contests against LaGrange and other regional opponents in 2024–25.

Series History: Mississippi College and Tougaloo met twice last season, with MC winning by a combined 23–0 scoreline.
