CLINTON, Miss. — Mississippi College senior Oliver Ollesch and the Choctaws' men's 4x400-meter relay team are set to compete at the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships, taking place May 22–24 in Pueblo, Colorado.
Ollesch qualified for nationals in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 51.41 seconds, placing him among the top athletes in the country in the event. In addition to his individual qualification, he will join teammates Samuel Hodson (FR), Matias Vasquez (JR), and Evan Wrights (SO) on the 4x400-meter relay team that earned a national berth with a season-best time of 3:08.59.
Ollesch was also recently named the Gulf South Conference Track Athlete of the Year after a dominant outdoor season that included top finishes across multiple sprint and hurdle events.
The 400-meter hurdle prelims are scheduled for Thursday, May 22, with the 4x400-meter relay prelims to follow on Friday, May 23. Finals for both events will be held on Saturday, May 24.
