Huntsville, Ala. ---- The Mississippi College Lady Choctaws lost to the Lady Flames of Lee University 3-1 in the Semifinal round of the GSC Women's Soccer Championship at John Hunt Park.  
The Lady Choctaws struck first as Margherita Giubilato recorded a goal in the 27th minute off an assist by Kaylee Foster.  Ten minutes later, the Lady Flames tied the game 1-1 as Alaysia Nye capitalized off an assist by Amelya Jacobs.  The 1-1 tie would hold until halftime.  
The second half remained deadlocked at 1-1 for 34 minutes until Lee finally broke through in the 79th minute as Tatum Miller's goal gave them the late 2-1 lead. 
Then just five minutes later Ruth Edrington scored off an assist by Grace Berry making it 3-1 with just 11 minutes remaining. 
MaryElla White got a shot off in the 88th minute, however, it was saved by Lee's Sophie Ramsuer and the Lady Flames walked away with the win, eliminating the Lady Choctaws from the tournament.
The Lady Flames will now move on to face Montevallo for the championship, meanwhile the Lady Choctaws join the men's team in awaiting their fate to be decided on selection Monday.
