CLINTON, Miss. --- Mississippi College baseball and head coach Jeremy Haworth announce the date for the second annual Mississippi College Baseball Alumni and Friends Golf Tournament held on Friday, Sept. 30 at beautiful Live Oaks Golf Club. This year's title sponsor for the alumni event is Bob Boyte Honda. Boyte is a former Choctaw standout.
 
"We are excited to host this event for the second straight year," said Haworth. "We invite everyone to come out to the course for a chance to reunite with teammates, former Choctaws and friends of the program to continue building a legacy for current and future Choctaw leaders."
 
Participants can register for the event at GoChoctaws.com/tickets or visiting the MC baseball page and clicking the link in the upper right corner on the Alumni Golf Tournament tab. Walk-ups for the event are also allowed.
 
Registration at 9:30 a.m., with a 10 a.m. tee time. Lunch will be provided during the four-man scramble with awards presented after the event.
 
Last year, approximately 25 teams participated in the inaugural event at Live Oaks.
