Softball Series Versus AUM Pushed Back to Sunday, Monday

CLINTON, Miss. --- This weekend's Gulf South Conference softball series between Mississippi College and Auburn Montgomery has been pushed back to a Sunday, Monday series.

Both teams were scheduled to go head to head with game one on Saturday, originally set for 1 p.m. in Huntsville, Ala. with game two to follow. Sunday's game for the Choctaws and Warhawks was scheduled for 1 p.m.

MC and AUM will now face off beginning on Sunday with a doubleheader set for a 2 p.m. first pitch in game one with game two set to follow. 

Game three of the series will be played on Monday at 3 p.m. All games will be played in Montgomery, Ala. on the campus of Auburn Montgomery. 
 


Mississippi College is a private Christian university located in Clinton, Mississippi with an enrollment of over 5,000 students. MC recently finished their transition process back to NCAA Division II and the Gulf South Conference and began competing for conference and national championships in the 2016-17 academic year.

The athletic department sponsors 18 intercollegiate athletic programs: Baseball, Men's and Women's Basketball, Men's and Women's Cross Country, Football, Men's and Women's Golf, Men's and Women's Soccer, Softball, Men's and Women's Tennis, Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field, Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field and Volleyball.
