MOBILE, Ala. -- Mississippi College picked up their second win in a row on Sunday afternoon, defeating Spring Hill College by a final score of 6-1 in non-conference play.

Walker Ellis (6-2) knocked off SHC in No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, as MC picked up the 1-0 lead early heading into singles action.
Joe Jarvis (No. 2 singles) took down Rafael Lima 7-6, 6-2 before the Choctaws got wins from HsiangYi Wang (6-7, 6-1, 1-0 (10-4)),
Carlos Trujillo (6-2, 6-4),
Matias Ballatore (6-1, 6-3), and
Walker Ellis (6-4, 6-2) as MC went on to win by a final of 6-1 over SHC.
Mississippi College improves to 2-4 overall on the season and will remain on the road for a Tuesday afternoon matchup versus the University of Mobile. The two programs go head to head beginning at 2 p.m. in Mobile, Ala.
