ARKADELPHIA, Ark. -- The Mississippi College women's tennis team picked up its second win of the weekend, this time knocking off Ouachita Baptist by a final of 6-1.
MC opened up the match with a 1-0 lead, sweeping all three doubles courts with
Ely Alas and
Fernanda Cota taking the win 6-2 out of the #1 doubles spot.
Both #2 and #3 doubles took wins as
Anna Didkovska and
Anna Valiaeva won 6-0 while Emma Roberts and
Maria Rodriguez swept 6-0 as well.
Mississippi College rounded out the match, knocking off OBU 5-1 in singles play, earning the overall win 6-1 to claim the Choctaws second win of the weekend.

MC improves to 3-1 overall on the season with the win and returns to the court tomorrow versus Henderson State with the two teams set to take on each other beginning at 11 a.m. in Arkadelphia, Ark.
