CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College women's tennis team cruised to a 7-0 sweep of Blue Mountain College on Wednesday afternoon at the MC Tennis Complex.

DOUBLES ACTION
 - The Lady Choctaws grabbed the doubles point with a little help from BMC not playing the #3 match.

Anna Didkovska and
Alisa Morozova did not drop a game en route to a 6-0 win at #2.

Ely Alas and
Fernanda Cota finished the sweep of doubles play with a 6-4 win at #1.
SINGLES ACTION
 - The first win in singles came from
Maria Rodriguez as she picked up a default victory with BMC not having a 6th player.
 -
Paulina Cota made quick work at the #1 position, dropping just one game in a straight-set win (6-0, 6-1).
 - Didkovska scored the match's deciding point at #3 with a 6-3, 6-4 victory.
 - Alas pushed the advantage out to 5-0 with a 6-1, 6-2 win at #2, while Morozova won the #4 match by a score of 6-2, 6-3.

Fernanda Cota finished the sweep with a 6-1, 6-4 victory at the #5 position.

 - The Lady Choctaws are scheduled to be back in action on Friday (April 9) when they play #7 West Florida at 11:00 a.m.
