MEMPHIS, Tenn. --- The Mississippi College men's tennis team erased an early deficit to pick up a 4-3 win over Christian Brothers on Saturday afternoon at Memphis University School.
The Choctaws (1-1, 1-0 GSC) rebounded after dropping the doubles point to the Bucs (3-1, 1-1 GSC) and picked up 4-of-6 singles matches.

DOUBLES ACTION
 - After the Bucs won the #1 doubles match (6-0),
Joe Jarvis and
Brady McDaniel knotted things up with a 6-2 win at #3.
 - CBU clinched the point with a tie-break victory at #2 by a score of 7-6 (7-4).

SINGLES ACTION
 - The Bucs extended the lead with a win at #1, but
Carlos Trujillo cut the score to 2-1 with a 6-1, 6-1 win at #5.

Maksym Konovalov rolled to a straight-set victory at #6 (6-2, 6-2) and the match was tied at 2-2.
 - MC took their first lead of the day after a three-set victory from
Shane Samyn at #3 (1-6, 6-2, 6-4).
 - The Bucs responded and tied things up at 3-3 with a three-set victory at #2.
 - The match came down to the final set as
Joe Jarvis (#3) split the first two sets and won the final set 6-4 to clinch MC's victory.

 - The Choctaws are scheduled to be back in action on Monday (March 8) when they host Ouachita Baptist at 2:00 p.m. at the MC Tennis Complex.
