Lady Choctaws Bamboozle Badgers, 7-0

MOBILE, Ala. --- The Mississippi College women's tennis team did not drop a set on the way to the fourth straight victory in a 7-0 win over Spring Hill on Monday morning.

The Lady Choctaws improved to 5-3 on the year, while the Badgers dropped to 6-6.
 

DOUBLES ACTION
  - The #2 team of Alisa Morozova and Paulina Cota got things off to a fast start with their third straight 6-0 win in doubles.
  - Ely Alas and Kennedy Rodriguez clinched the doubles point with 6-1 victory at #3.
  - Aneta Golawska and Tori Roberts made it a clean sweep of the three doubles matches with a 6-0 win at #1.
 

SINGLES ACTION
  - Roberts opened singles play up with a 6-0, 6-0 win at #4, moving her singles record to 6-0 on the 2020 season.
  - Golawska pushed the advantage to 3-0 with a 6-2, 6-0 win at #2.
  - Alas won the match-clinching point at #3 with a 6-1, 6-2 victory.
  - Carmen Manicea (#6) and Paulina Cota (#1) also had easy wins to make the lead 6-0.
  - Julia McCarty closed out the sweep with a 6-4, 7-5 victory at #5.
 

NEXT UP
  - The Lady Choctaws will have 11 days off before traveling to face Montevallo (Mar. 21) and UAH (Mar. 22) in GSC action.
