CLINTON, Miss. --- Due to inclement weather in the area on Monday morning, the series finale between Mississippi College and #5 Valdosta State has been canceled and will not be made up.

The Lady Choctaws swept a doubleheader from the nationally-ranked Blazers on Sunday, opening the day with an 8-0 win before a walk-off, two-run double by Kristen Qualls in the 10th inning secured the sweep in a 2-1 victory.

MC is scheduled to be back in action next weekend when they travel to Cleveland, Tenn. for a three-game series with Lee University, opening on Friday with a single game at 4:00 p.m.

The next home games for the Lady Choctaws are on Wednesday, March 27th when Union (TN) comes to Clinton for a non-conference doubleheader.
