Lady Choctaws Notch 11th Straight with 6-3 win at #20 Mobile

MOBILE, Ala. --- The Mississippi College women's tennis team picked up their 11th win in a row with their 6-3 win over  the University of Mobile on Friday, March 9. With the win, the Lady Choctaws improve to 11-0 overall, and 5-0 in GSC play.
 
In double's action, AnneMarie Kimball and Sofia Gonzalez-Carrera, and Brenna Keller and RebeccaGrace Kimball picked up MC's two points with their wins. The win for both duos marked for their first together on the season.
 
In singles, AnneMarie Kimball (6-4, 6-2), Aneta Golawska (6-2, 6-1) and Katie Reid (6-2, 6-0) all downed their opponents in straight sets.  A. Kimball and Golawska both improved their 2018 single's record improve to an unblemished 11-0 with their wins.
 
The Lady Choctaws will return to the court on Monday, March 12 when they take on Spring Hill College. First serve from Mobile, Ala. is slated for 10:00 a.m.
