CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College men's soccer team suffered another heartbreaking loss in the regular season finale on Senior Day against Gulf South Conference foe Spring Hill by a score of 2-1.
The Choctaws will finish the regular season with an overall record 6-7-1 and a GSC record of 4-6-1.
The Badgers will finish the regular season with an overall record of 15-1-0 and a GSC record of 11-0-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a scoreless first half, the Choctaws were able to strike in the 46
th minute when
Owen Connelly's free kick found
Victor Bazan in the box who put it in the back of the net to give the Choctaws a 1-0 lead.
- The Badgers were able to respond on a corner kick play in the 58
th minute when Alex Lipinski's header got past MC keeper
Goncalo Pernas tying the match at 1-1.
- Spring Hill was able to take the lead in the 69
th minute of play when Tilman Schober's cross found the head of Vassil Kokali who put it in the back of the net making it 2-1 in favor of the Badgers.
- The Choctaws came up short in the final 20 minutes and the Badgers held on to win the match 2-1.

- With the loss the Choctaws were knocked of any GSC or NCAA post season play and their season was ended.

- The Choctaws will now enter the offseason and will be back in action in the spring with exhibition match play.
