CLEVELAND, Tenn. --- The Mississippi College women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 Gulf South Conference decision in overtime to the Lady Flames of Lee University on Sunday, Sept. 17.

- A goal from Summer Lanter of the Lady Flames, with help from Riley Engals sealed the deal in the 94th minute.

KEY STATS
- The Lady Choctaws outshot the Lady Flames 11-10 in the match. MC took three shots in the first period, and eight in the second period.
- Five of the Lady Choctaws shots were on frame, compared to just three for the Lady Flames
- Freshman forward Lindsey Stephenson led the way offensively for MC, with four shots and two shots on goal in the conest.
- Gaylynn Cooper would finish with a pair of shots, while Lauren Smith, Emma Claire Furman and Emily McNair added a shot on goal. Katie Taylor and Caitlin Hayes both also took a shot in the match.
- In Goal, Andrea McDonald tallied one save on the afternoon. The junior keeper's record dropped to 2-1-1 for the year, after surrendering just her first goal of the season in the overtime loss.
- The Lady Choctaws took one corner kick in the contest, while the Lady Flames took two.
- The Lady Choctaws were tagged for eight fouls in the match, while the Lady Flames were on the receiving end of 13.

- With the loss, the Lady Choctaws record sits at 4-1-1 on the season, and 3-1 in GSC play.
- The Lady Choctaws surrendered just their second goal of the season in the match.
- MC was tagged with the lone yellow card of the match.
