PENSACOLA, Fla. --- The Mississippi College women's tennis team fell 9-0 to the number six-ranked Lady Argonauts of West Florida on Friday afternoon. With the loss, the Lady Choctaws record drops to 9-6 overall, and 4-2 in Gulf South Conference play.

In singles play, the Lady Choctaws came their closest to winning a point in the match at the number one match between
Brenna Keller and #34 ranked Paula Lopez. Keller won the first set 6-3, but dropped the next 6-1 and the decisive tiebreaker 6-0.

In Doubles action,
AnneMarie Kimball and
Anna Shuliak suffered just their fifth loss of the season in an 8-2 defeat to Heather Mixon and Jordana Lujan.

The Lady Choctaws will face a quick turnaround, as they will face off against #10 ranked Valdosta State tomorrow afternoon. Match time is slated for 1:00 p.m.
