CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College women's tennis team, dropped a 9-0 decision to Division I opponent Alcorn State on Wednesday evening. With the loss, the Lady Choctaw's record drops to 0-3 on the season.

The Lady Choctaws came their closet to grabbing a point in singles action.
AnneMarie Kimball took the second set over Daria Chemodanova 6-3, but dropped the decisive third 6-3.
Aneta Golawska took Klavdija Bukovec to three sets, but fell in the decisive third 10-7.

The Lady Choctaws will return to action on Friday, Feb. 24 when they face off against North Central Texas in an exhibition match in day one of the Ouachita Baptist Tournament in Arkadelphia, Ark. Match time is slated for 8:00 a.m.
