CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College women's tennis team fell 6-3 to Division I foe Jackson State on Monday afternoon. With the loss, the Lady Choctaw's record falls to 0-2 on the season.
 
In doubles action, Brenna Keller and Aneta Golawska picked MC's lone point; knocking off Oni Jones and Ariel Dickinson 8-4.
 
In singles play, Golawska picked up her first collegiate singles victory by defeating Oni Jones in three sets (4-6, 6-3, 6-0). Katie Reid picked up MC's other point in the match, defeating Ariel Dickins in straight sets (7-5, 6-3).
 
The Lady Choctaws will return to action on Wednesday, February 22 when they host another division I opponent in Alcorn State. Match time is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
