CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College women's soccer team will conclude regular season play for the 2016 campaign by playing host to West Florida on Thursday, and Spring Hill on Saturday.

The Lady Choctaws head into the final two-game stretch with an overall record of 10-4-1, and a mark of 7-2-1 in Gulf South Conference play that finds them third in the conference.

MC's last contest saw them take down the Hawks of Shorter University 1-0 on Sunday, Oct. 23. The win accounted for the Lady Choctaws 10
th, marking the 14
th time in the last 15 seasons that the Lady Choctaws have reached double-digit victories in a season. Â

Through 15 games, the Lady Choctaws have tallied 29 goals on 237 shot attempts, for an average of 15.8 shots and 1.93 goals per contest. In conference action, MC has scored 20 goals on 170 shots through 10 contests, for an average of 17 shots and two goals per match.

Lauren Smith leads all Lady Choctaws with six goals on the year, with all of them coming against GSC opponents.
Caitlin Hayes's five goals sit behind Smith for second on the team. Hayes's four game-winning goals leads the conference.

Between the posts,
Andrea McDonald has compiled a record of 8-4-1 on the season, pitching four shutouts along the way. The sophomore keeper has converted 34 saves on the year, and brings a 1.08 goals against average in the two-game stretch.

The Lady Choctaws bring an all-time record of 0-2 against West Florida and 4-2 against Spring Hill. In their previous meetings in 2015, MC fell 2-0 West Florida and defeated Spring Hill 2-0.
