Caitlin Hayes headed in two goals within six minutes during the second half.
The Lady Choctaws offensive line has great depth as Sayit Mejia Belo (Bogota, Colombia) has recorded three goals with two helpers and four other Lady Choctaws have tallied two goals a piece including Hayes, freshman
Gaylynn Cooper (Jackson, Miss.),
Jess Davenport (Widnes, England) and
Lauren Smith (Birmingham, Ala.). MC has outshot their opponents 70-21.
The defensive line is led by senior
Meghan Dodge (Palm Harbor, Fla.) and junior
Madison Leonard (Cantonment, Fla.) who have allowed just 21 shots by their opponents. In goal for MC is freshman
Andrea McDonald (New Orleans, La.) who has made nine saves with a .33 goals against average.
Leading the attack for Ouachita Baptist (1-1) is Haley Hatcher with two goals. Audrey Rodriquez and Alisa Trejo have each recorded one goal this season.
Lauren Llanes has spent the majority of the time between the posts for the Tigers and has tallied 14 saves.
The Lady Choctaws have faced the Tigers for the last two seasons and have picked up wins each time, outscoring the Tigers 6-2.
