CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College women's soccer team travels to Tennessee on Friday to face Union at 5:00 p.m. in Jackson and Christian Brothers on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. in Memphis.
The Lady Choctaws (7-1-2, 3-1-1 GSC) have just come off a solid GSC weekend as they earned a draw against West Georgia 2-2 on Friday and picked up a 1-0 win from Valdosta State on Sunday.
The offense is led by a number of players who have each contributed to the 31 goals tallied this season.
Jess Davenport (Widness, England) leads the scoring effort, tallying seven goals with two helpers. Sophomore
Caitlin Hayes (Warrington, England) follows Davenport with six goals, all coming off headers, with one assist. Senior
Sayit Mejia Bello (Bogota, Colombia) has posted four finishes with four helpers while junior
Sydney Oliver (Kingwood, Texas) has scored five goals with one assist.
MC's back line has kept their opponents to 91 shots and just eight goals on the season. Leading the back line is sisters' senior

Andrea McDonald (New Orleans, La.) who has posted 0.77 goals against average, making 27 saves with five shutout victories.
Last season MC hosted Union (2-8, 2-2 GSC) and came away with a 5-1 win. Five different Lady Choctaws scored in the match including former players
Kaitlyn Kiss,
Macey Lee, and
Nicole McKissack and current players Leonard and Mejia Bello. In the second half, the Lady Bulldogs got one tally by Danya Horchi but MC was able to maintain their lead.
The Lady Bulldog's offense has posted seven goals on the season. The attack is led by Honeye Heydari who has tallied three goals with two helpers and Kelsey Wilkes who has recorded three goals. In goal for Union is Kristen Francis who has posted a 1.99 goals against average with 52 saves and two shutout victories.
The Lady Choctaws fell to Christian Brothers (6-3-1, 3-2-1 GSC) 3-1 in the 2014 season. The Lady Bucs got two first half goals from Lauren Browning and Alex Bickenbach. The Lady Choctaws attempted to come back in the second half as junior
Meghan Mauzy (Titusville, Fla.) scored in the 53rd minute but it was not enough as the Lady Bucs tallied another goal in the 72nd minute by Camilla Rodrigues bringing the final score to 3-1.
The Lady Buc's offense is a balanced effort led by Mariana Tonelli and Melissa Tammi who have posted four goals while Camilla Rodrigues and Connie Strini have recorded three goals apiece. The offense has posted 20 goals to their opponent's 11. In goal for Christian Brothers is Emily Wragg who has recorded a 1.19 goals against average with 32 saves and one shutout victory.
