Junior forward Jalessa Taylor led the Lady Choctaws to wins over LeTourneau and East Texas Baptist.  The Jackson Academy standout averaged 9.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game while also leading the team with five steals.  With the wins, MC clinched an ASC Tournament berth going into the final week of play against Louisiana College and Texas-Tyler.
