Mississippi College senior guard Donnie Haywood  averaged 20 points, 2.5 assists and 2.5 rebounds to pace a 2-0 week and keep the nationally-ranked Choctaws unbeaten on the season. Haywood, who also had three steals and shot 64 percent from the floor, scored 15 of his 22 points in the second half to fuel a conference win over Texas Lutheran then poured in 17 of his 18 points after halftime to pace a victory against Wesley.
